I’m Regina Peralta, and I run Buhay Copywriter, a blog/newsletter about life as an advertising copywriter in the Philippines. Thank you for the warm welcome to your inbox. 😌

About the writer

I’ve been writing professionally since 2016, but I first fell in love with words back in 2003. I love getting paid to do something I like - so much so that I’m over here writing about it in my spare time!

Most of my work has been in the advertising industry, though I have dabbled in client-side copywriting, SEO/content marketing, and freelance jobs ranging from transcription to social media copywriting. You can check out my portfolio here.

When I’m not writing for work or about work, I’m most likely doing one or more of the following:

• Reading (historical stuff like the Romanovs/Habsburgs/Victorian Royals are a current fixation, as well as self-help/mental health stuff)

• Taking care of my little balcony garden (I’m a sustainability/environmental advocate)

  

  My pechay harvest from my hydroponics garden.

• Playing the ukulele (just for fun, ok; don’t get any ideas haha)

• Watching TV series (currently on deck: Pulang Araw)

• Enjoying delicious food and drinks with my family and/or my boyfriend

• Doing chores, including meal prep and caring for our two dogs, Hershey and Auro
